2 pieces of glasses cost 50 crore rupees! Saibaar

Two glasses are up for auction. It may seem, what is there to talk about? But if the price of one of the two glasses is about 25 crore rupees, it is normal to frown. However, even if the eyebrows are wrinkled, one of the two glasses can be sold at the same price. And why not - absolutely the glasses of the Mughal period!

Yes, two spectacles were found by an unknown Indian, framed during the Mughal period. The lens used is more than 130 years old. The auction company Sotheby's says the lens was placed in the frame in the 1890s. And that lens is not that lens, absolutely cut diamond!

Of course, just because of age, the price of these glasses is skyrocketing, not so much. Because the frame of these two glasses is inlaid with jewels. Diamonds and emeralds have been used around it.

According to the BBC, this pair of glasses will be shown in Hong Kong and London this October. And at the end of the month, they will be auctioned in London. The auction company says that the price of each spectacle can be from 20 lakh to 34 lakh US dollars! In other words, the price of Bangladeshi currency will be 16 crores to 29 crores! Even if the maximum price does not match, it will be sold for Tk 25 crore in the middle. As such, the price of two glasses will be 50 crore rupees.

Edward Gibbs, chairman of Southampton's the Middle East and India region, said: "This pair of glasses is something outstanding. As technically as it has the impression of perfect mastery, its construction style is also outstanding. The taste of the one who made it is also to be appreciated. This pair of glasses is something that no one has ever seen before.

Exactly when the pair of glasses was made did not match. However, it is believed to have been built in the sixteenth or seventeenth century when the Mughals ruled the subcontinent. Many see its similarities with the Mughal architectural style and artifacts.
