Saiful Islam arrested by the  CID ( Ring id )

Saiful Islam, director of social media platform Ring ID, has been arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). He was arrested from Gulshan in the capital on Saturday. CID Additional Superintendent of Police Azad Rahman confirmed the matter. He said he was being questioned on various issues. Reportedly, Ring has been deceived by investing in ID; On September 30, a person filed a case against Ring ID under the Digital Security Act. Saiful Islam has been arrested in that case. 

Additional Superintendent of Police Azad Rahman said Ring ID initially started its journey as a social media platform. Later, they added various services to the platform and collected a huge amount of deposits from people. These services include foreign investment, community jobs, and various other services. Behind which he conducts deposit collection activities. A large number of people from different parts of the country have invested in this sector. Earlier, there were suspicions from various quarters about raising money from the people through their corona donation. In the statement of the case, the names of 10 people with ring ID were mentioned and 10-15 people were accused of being unknown. Later, the CID's Cyber ​​Police Center started investigating the case. He was arrested following the investigation.
